The 6th Annual Final Final Open will be held in memory of Thomas Altmann and will benefit the First Tee of Connecticut, which uses golf and character education to teach young people with life-enhancing values like perseverance, judgment and confidence.

CT Volkswagen enthusiasts should know that the event will be taking place on Monday June 13, 2011 at the Glastonbury Hills Country Club, located at 239 Country Club Road in South Glastonbury.

Participants and spectators should arrive at 11 a.m. for the 12 p.m. shotgun format tee off. The tournament is slated to last until 5 p.m. with a dinner to be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Previously, Gene Langan Volkswagen also offered a brand new auto to players in the 21st Annual Cherish the Children Golf Classic who were able in sink a hole in one during the tournament that took place on Monday May 23, 2011.

The 21st Annual Cherish the Children Golf Classic happened at the Wethersfield Country Club, located at 76 County Club Road in Wethersfield, aided the Cherish the Children Foundation who helps children and families with a medical or quality of life financial need.
