Infotechnics Are An International Choice

PRLog (Press Release)– Mar 21, 2011– Infotechnics have been awarded a contract by MOL Plc to deploy their operational shift logging software Opralog, to the Danube refinery in Hungary.

MOL Plc, together with its subsidiaries, operates as an integrated oil and gas company in central and Eastern Europe. MOL approached Infotechnics with a requirement to implement an elec car news tronic shift logging system as the company were keen to move away from paper ba auto part sed systems and standardise the way in which operational information is collected and reported across their plants.

Tibor Komróczki, Process Information Leader explained "Our refining division operates a total of five refineries with a refining capacity of 23.5 million tons of crude oil distillation per year. The current systems in place involve a myriad of d buick ocuments, spreadsheets and databases.   Opralog will allow us to improve the flow of information, minimising the loss of knowledge, and allowing direct communication and feedback across the plant.  We are also now looking at future plans to install Opralog across the rest of the MOL Group refineries.

Opralog is the market leading operational logging and reporting tool, providing a flexible and co ferrari nfigurable platform to capture and report on key operational data.

Speaking of the award, Infotechnics Technical Director Brian Pacitti said "We are delighted that MOL Plc has selected Opralog.  Opralog will provide a central database for key operational information with a quick and easy method of capturing data allowing it to be automatically shared, reported and accessed.  This will reduce much of the manual effort, duplication and human error often found in plant logs and reports. Being in Hungarian, this is a great example of the multi-lingual capabilities of the system, which will enable us to achieve our target of moving into new markets supplying Opralog to clients in Europe and the rest of the world.
