Abe Lincoln shows him

Abe Lincoln is an overrated president and one of the first American presidents to be photographed. A man with his appearance would have a hard time getting elected now days and most people past and present who voted in American politics would gladly elect Bill Clinton over him. This man was a joke and I can see why his election caused a civil war. The man really didn't serve in the military and fight in a real battle unlike most presidents of his era. He fought just a few skirmishes with wild Indians in the Illinois militia. These were weak Indians and not the tough Sioux of the Dakotas or the might Miami of the Ohio. I decided to post at times about this turkey of a president since I changed the name of my blog/favorite link site.

This guy looked so malnourished I thought he was a freaking White Somalian in this photo. He wears a hat that was not even in style by the civil war era in this photo. The man was a joke and I am surprised one of these generals didn't overthrow him. I really think George McClellan was planning this one day as Lincoln had many enemies in the North as well as the South. This man only got elected in 1860 because four assholes decided to run instead of the usual two. If they had a runoff like elections in some states and cities do today I am sure old honest Abe would of lost. He definitely would of lost if there was television back then too.
